HSSI has developed training curriculum and lesson plans for basic security and law enforcement training that includes weapons qualification training to support military clients, including Headquarters, U.S. Marine Corps, Security and Law Enforcement Branch (PSL) and the U.S. Navy, Commander, Navy Installations (CNI).

These training programs include classroom training, practical exercise training, and firearms training. Additionally, HSSI has developed web-based training courses that are completed on-line by new students prior to initial security force training, and by trained personnel for sustainment and re-qualification.

We offer curriculum and individual lesson plan development for a wide variety of subjects, and clients, customized to your individual needs. Offerings include personal protection classes for employees, terrorism/crime awareness briefings, and other subject matter across the spectrum of personnel and organizational security.

Public Safety (Security & Law Enforcement) Training

HSSI has a highly trained cadre of certified instructors, organized into Mobile Training Teams, who provide an on-site training package in support of the U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Navy. The training is modular and can be tailored to meet specific requirements of other organizations. Training consists of the following:

Conducted in a professional academy setting; provides new public safety officers with the fundamentals of jurisdictionally applicable law, basic police/community service skills, security plan implementation, defensive tactics (including non-lethal weapons), and firearms qualification.
